This niche element of the angling titles published by Ken Smith under the Smith Settle imprint stemmed from a desire to create well designed, finely crafted books containing original flies tied for the edition and set into mounts. The first volume and succeeding ones were designed, printed and executed by him and the production staff of Smith Settle. The decision was justified by the success of the first title Fly Fishing The North Country Tradition, which was fully subscribed before its publication in 1994, and now commands significant interest in the angling collectors’ market. We are pleased to give details of the editions we have planned and in progress, plus those published previously (for bibliographical interest only).
